We are a community-based Domiciliary care agency assisting people in their own homes in the beautiful village of Leintwardine.

The agency is based in the community centre in the heart of the village.

We Are Your Care Ltd was founded in 2020 by Melissa Stokes (Registered Manager) and Julie Brookes (Office Manager) who between them have 35 years of experience in the care industry and are passionate about delivering good quality care.

Especially palliative and end of life care.

We offer care not just to the residents of Leintwardine but to people in the surrounding areas of South Shropshire and Herefordshire.

All our support workers are DBS checked and have extensive training with external, and internal face-to-face trainers and online training though we prefer face-to-face training, so our support workers retain more knowledge and can give better-quality care to our clients.

Our new support workers must complete the Care Certificate: 15 standards such as safeguarding, mental capacity and infection control and complete a course of shadowing with a more experienced carer.

Our more senior support workers can have completed NVQ at a range of levels including 2,3 and 4

WHAT NEXT?

Call us for an informal initial chat to get to know your situation and help you talk through what package of care you or your family member may need.

There’s no pressure to decide there and then you can have a chat with other family members or partners before making a decision.

The next step would be to arrange a home visit from a senior member of staff to discuss more in-depth your or your loved ones’ needs and the level of support you are looking for.

We like to get to know you and what your life history, preferences, likes, and dislikes are even down to how you like your cup of tea is made.

We can then match the right support worker to you.

We will produce your personalised care plan that stays in your own home with you.

It is there for you to look through and to contribute to as life is always changing.

We will update our support workers with all the information they need to know about you and the first week will be a getting to know each other and finding out how you like your routine and what makes you tick.

We feel you should be treated as we would treat members of our own family.

We were inspected by the Care Quality Commission and gained good throughout.
